polyjet 3d printing system
The PolyJet process uses inkjet style technology to apply photo curing resin in layers only 16 microns thick (.0006 in.) or 1600 dpi. Each layer has an x and y resolution of 600 x 600 dpi. This results in rapid prototypes and rapid manufactured parts with highest resolution available and smooth surface finishes.
Our Eden Objet 500v 3d printer utilizes fullcure 850 Verogray – the best 3d resin in the marketplace. Additional resins are available on request.
The PolyJet process requires very little post processing which allows us to turn around parts very quickly.

The “grand daddy” of rapid prototyping and rapid manufacturing, SLA uses UV lasers to cure liquid epoxy resin into a solid model. The laser traces the shape of the part from 3d STL file and bonds consecutive layers together, stacking them to form finished parts. Our typical layer thickness is .004 in. x and y accuracy is excellent. You can expect dimensions under 5” to be within .005 in. over 5”, expect +/- .002 in.
Our skilled technicians and model makers focus on speed and accuracy. We turn around most SLA projects overnight. Get us a file by 3pm mountain time and we will generally ship the next day. If more time is required for your project, we will let you know before we start.

We offer two different SLA resins in house: Somos DMX-Sl 100 and Somos Watershed XC. DMX offers extremely high impact strength and resistance to breakage and is the strongest most robust SLA resin available. Watershed XC is an optically clear resin perfect for building, lenses, light pipes or other parts when transparency is required. This new formula avoids the yellow tint that is inherent in transparent SLA resins. Additional resins are available upon request.
