Metropolis Conceptual Design
In the conceptual design phase, our designers work to understand the idea as the client envisions it – all of its possibilities, limitation, and requirements. By doing so, we can create viable solutions appropriate to the overall concept of the design. Once research is complete, we begin ideating the design through thumbnails, sketching, modeling, role playing, brainstorming, etc. Once several ideas are worked out, we prepare them for presentation, typically using computer renderings, sketches, or model formats.
After meeting with the client for design reviews, we make necessary revisions often integrating more than one of the conceptual designs into a single design format that meets the client’s needs. Once a direction is agreed upon we proceed to mechanical design.
